  I am basically self taught, however I briefly study painting in oils under the tutelage of Philadelphia artist, Frank Davis. I have also picked up tips while reading about other artists, during conversations, and watching other artists on line. Norman Rockwell's art in the Saturday Evening Post was my earliest inspiration.

   

   I have shown work at Chadds Ford Gallery, Golden Door Gallery, Biota Gallery, and in group shows in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Additionally I have painted commissioned portraits.

 

   I usually like to paint in a representative or realistic style. When a piece has turned out the way I imagined, it gives me a feeling that I accomplished something for good
