After raising a family she joined the Main Line Art Center in Haverford and the Wayne Art Center where she studied with well-known artists such as Ellen Cooper, Garth Herrick, Alexandra Tyng, Paul du Sold, Peter Schaumann, Ernie Norcia, Giovanni Casadei, Christine La Fuente and Frances Galante.
