“Sadie’s World” by Jackie Kane
Sadie’s World was inspired by a photograph of Hibernia Park’s Hatfield Mansion, a mid 1700’s house overlooking the Brandywine Creek. With overgrown weeds, and a sense of abandonment, Sadie, seemed equally intrigued. I added the pot of geraniums as a mystery at an otherwise unkempt property, to create wonder of who could be watering flowers while all else is in disarray.
Custom framed in wood moulding edged in decorative dentil detail, finished in a stippled antique copper paint.
